DSBA Honors Rick Porcello with his 2009 Rookie of Year Award

The Detroit Sports Broadcasters Association proudly presented Tigers starter Rick Porcello, 21, with his 2009 Detroit Tigers - DSBA Rookie of the Year Award on May 2, 2009, prior to the Tigers-Angels game at Comerica Park. On hand to present him the award were Past President Rich Kincaide, Executive Director George Eichorn, Vice President James Rein and Sergeant-at-Arms Bill Harrington. DSBA photographers Mike Alberts (photo shown here) and Bill Eisner captured the presentation and anouncers Dan Dickerson (radio) and Mario Impemba (cable TV) both DSBA Members - mentioned it during their broadcasts.
